Dr. Wang is a networking and high-tech industry veteran with extensive experience in developing various cutting-edge communication products. He is a serial entrepreneur that leads companies from business definition to achieve early successes and positive momentum. Prior to Alpine Optoelectronics, he served as the CEO at Luxar Tech, Inc. He was also co-founder and CTO of Redclover Networks (acquired by Oplink). Dr Wang has held a broad range of leadership positions in product development and business management within a range of organizations including Emcore, ONI Systems (acquired by Ciena), and Nortel Networks.Dr. Wang received his PH. D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Montreal in 1998.
Dr. Ding received his PhD degree from University of Tokyo, Japan. He has been working in the optical communication industry since 1992. Dr. Ding has broad knowledge and deep understanding of optical fiber networks, optical transmission system design and evaluation, and optical module design and manufacturing. He is also an expert on optical system and module testing. Dr. Ding was the engineering team leader for the industry first 2400km ULH 10G DWDM system development and evaluation at Qtera/Nortel. He was the technical leader for design and development of the enterprise oriented compact DWDM system at XKL. As the Director of System Integration and Optical Components at Menara Networks, he was in charge of developing industry's only 10G DWDM XFP modules with OTN functions and tunable 100G DWDM CFP modules.
Mr. Bergstrom has held senior leadership roles in the technology sector in Silicon Valley for most of his career. He was Co-Founder and President of Milanchi, a Silicon Valley company developing and manufacturing high-end 100G security monitoring systems for the data center and metro business areas. Prior to his role at Milanchi, Mr. Bergstrom was Co-Founder and President of GC Technologies which produced DWDM and fiber monitor system products. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bergstrom led operations at K2 Optronics, which was sold to Emcore Corporation. Prior to K2, Mr. Bergstrom was the operation and technical head for Kaptron, an early developer of optical switches, Wavelength Division Multiplexers, and unique laser test systems. He led the transition of the company after being sold to AMP/Tyco.
